Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice each chicken breast horizontally to create a pocket, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. Season the inside of each pocket with salt and black pepper.
  4. Place a slice of mozzarella cheese, a slice of tomato, and 2 basil leaves inside each pocket.
  5. Press the edges of the chicken breast together to seal the pocket.
  6. Season the outside of each chicken breast with salt and black pepper.

  9. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  11. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the chicken breasts.
  12. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
