Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Scrub the potatoes clean and pat them dry. Pierce each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking.
  3. Place the potatoes directly on the middle oven rack and bake for about 1 hour, or until they are tender when pierced with a fork.
  4. While the potatoes are baking, prepare the filling. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, cooked and crumbled bacon, sour cream, melted butter, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
