  • 1 pound (450g) pizza dough
  • 4 tablespoons (56g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (113g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup (28g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon (3g) chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt, to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) thick.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and minced garlic together.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the surface of the dough.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
  6. Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log.
  7. Cut the log into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pieces.
  8. Take each piece and tie it into a knot, tucking the ends underneath.
  9. Place the knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley, and a pinch of salt over the knots.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  12. Remove from the oven and allow the knots to cool for a few minutes before serving.
