  • 1 block of firm tofu, drained and pressed (450g)
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch (30g)
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast (20g)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened plant-based milk (60ml)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (15ml)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (15ml)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15ml)
  • Cooking spray

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

  2. Cut the drained and pressed tofu into bite-sized nuggets or strips.

  3. In a shallow bowl, combine the cornstarch, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
