  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (60g)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion (30g)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (15g)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
  • Burger buns and desired toppings

Cooking Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until they are mostly mashed but still have some texture.
  2. Add the cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cilantro, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
