The Auto-Ochel festival is back at Armon HaNatziv Promenade in Jerusalem through August 20, open Monday through Thursday from 6:00 to 11:00 PM. Entry to the site is free, and visitors only pay for the dishes they choose, priced between 25 and 45 NIS. The view opens onto the Old City, and part of the menu changes every week.

Who's Cooking This Year

This year's lineup includes Israel Aharoni, Moshik Roth, Rachel Ben Elul, Guy Gamzu, and the Machneyuda group. Alongside them, dishes come from well known restaurants and stands from across the country: Shimon Ouaknin, Ruby Michael, Super HaMizrach, Jaco, Rosy, Pitmaster, Joy, Palomino, Cookie Cream and Kaboom, Nadav Bornstein, Segev, Mocha, Habibi, Nona Mofleta, Kurtos and Arla, and other well known chefs and restaurants from around Israel. In total, about 30 chefs and restaurants rotate through the festival.

Music, Kids, and a Laser Show

Alongside the food, there are four free concerts, each starting at 8:30 PM. Guy Mazig opened the series on July 28, followed by Alma Gov on August 4 and Shimon Buskila on August 11. Knesiat Hasechel closes the festival on August 18. Families with children will find a dedicated area with shows every evening, and several screenings of the festival's laser show run throughout the night.
