  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro or green onions, for garnish

Cooking Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the beef slices to the skillet and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over the ingredients. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
