שנה שנייה ברציפות: מסעדת Ledbury נבחרה כטובה ביותר בבריטניה

זו שנה שנייה ברציפות שה- Ledbury הוכתרה כמסעדה הטובה ביותר בבריטנה ברשימת 100 המסעדות הטובות ביותר בממלכה המאוחדת, של ה- National Restaurant Awards 2011.

המסעדה מנוטינג היל, אותה מוביל השף האוסטרלי בראט גרהאם, זכתה לחשיפה תקשורתית בינלאומית כאשר בחודש אוגוסט השנה הניסוו שפים ומלצרים שלה בעזרת כלי בישול שודדים שפרצו את הדלת הקדמית של ה- Ledbury ושדדו סועדים עם סכינים שלופות.
המסעדה כבר זכתה השנה בפרס האוכל הטוב ביותר ממדריך Zagat ותואר המסעדבה החדשה הטובה ביותר של מדריך Hardens.

במקום השני דורגה מסעדת Pollen Street Social החדשה של השף ג'ייסון אתרטון במייפייר, שגברה על Dinner של שף הסטון בלומנטל כמסעדה החדשה הטובה ביותר של השנה בלונדון. ה- Fat Duck של בלומנטל ירדה למקום הרביעי מהשני לפני שנה.
Le Mnoir aux Quat' Saisons הוכתרה כמסעדת המלון הטובה ביותר.
סיימון רוגאן זכה בתואר השף של השפים, ושתי מסעדותיו l'Enclume ו- Roganic מוקמו בין 20 הראשונות.

הפרסים הוענקו ע"י תמהיל של שפים, בעלי מסעדות ומבקרי מסעדות מ- 12 אזורים בבריטניה.
